I am using an inexpensive chuck with the approprorate jaws here to grab the tenon on the inside of the bowl. left to right you can see the transition parts to get mychuck attched to the live center:
4 jaw tommy bar chuck
1-1/8" to 1/1/4" adapter
1-1/4' to 7/8" adapter to Oneway live center on tailstock.
Your set up will vary. My lathe isa 1-1/4"x 8 tpi spindle which makes for a bit of extra work changing over.
