Those
of you who have watched the series will be familiar with the scene that
I have attempted to recreate. The characters in this scene
includes Hefron, Martin, Randleman and a rookie by the name of Julian. The set up for this diorama includes some branches that I obtained from my backyard. These branches were screwed onto a sheet of 1/4 inch plywood. A generous spray of "snow in a can"(Christmas leftovers) helps give the base white appearance. To add to the effect, I sprinkled fake snow to give more texture. The entire set-up was placed infront of a white back drop. |

| Above
are images of Hefron in his attempt to help Julian. He has a DML
M1 Garand rifle with a replacement sling. I have also repainted the
rifle. Infact all the M1 Garand with these BOB figures are DML
products that I have repainted. The M1 helmets are from DID
with a DML liner. The straps have all been replaced
though. The suspenders are all DML also. The uniforms are
all custom made and of course the heads are my own head
sculptures. Below are a series of photographs of Julian. Although not very clear, I had scultpured him with an extended neck with a neck wound. For the blood, I used a semi-transparent paint from the Dollar store. This paint was made for simulating stain glass when painted on glass. After it has dried it is semi flexible and can be peeled of the glass. I simply painted the blood on a smooth surface which I then peeled off after it has dried. I can then place it where I want. It dries to a very dark red colour. |

are photographs of John Martin. He wears a DML belt and
holds a 21st Century Toys Thompson machine gun which has been
repainted and a cloth sling added to it. The pistol holster is
made with real leather. The ammunition bag is also a custom item. Below are a couple of photographs of Randleman who's description is covered on BOB part five. |
