The Great War to end all Wars 1914 - 1919

My father, Jonathan Bartlett, fought with the Benbow and Drake Battalions of the Royal Naval Division in 1914 - 1919 and I have written a history using his Service Record as a time line.

In response to requests for information from my first edition of the official history of the Division, The Royal Naval Division by Douglas Jerrold, I have transcribed the  Contents page which links to the index and various chapters and maps, and will transcribe more as asked. The book does not have much to say about individuals unless they were of Staff rank or recognised heroes and the PBI (Poor Bloody Infantry) hardly get a mention! But they were there with my dad among the best of them.
