Descendants of Philip Day and Maria Pearce

William and Sarah Day had eight children who were baptized in Dennington parish, Suffolk, England. It is believed that Simon, the eldest, is the same Simon Day who emigrated to Prince Edward Island. See http://www.islandregister.com/day1.html

Simon’s brother, Philip Day, married Maria Pearce. Their children were baptized at Badingham, Suffolk. Before 1836, Philip and Maria had emigrated to Canada and their daughter Maria was married to Christopher Ward. No records of emigration and marriage have been found, but Maria and Christopher's eldest child, Sarah, was born at Miramichi, New Brunswick, according to the record of her marriage. Christopher and Maria settled originally near Toronto, where Maria’s sister Esther and her husband John Hancey were living.
