Bucket Fundraiser for Canadian Children in need of BackPacks and school supplies
	Thank you so much for your dedication to our final Bake & Craft Event. Without your generous support we would not have been able to raise the funds and awareness that are so greatly needed by these children we are so passionate about.
	This year (2009) we were able to assist many children by providing much needed aid in the following ways: • Purchased, stocked and staffed a mobile medical clinic in which will bring emergency medical equipment, supplies & aid to children in communities otherwise left to perish without medical treatment; • Emergency food and medical aid for starving and malnourished children • Immunizations for 3 communities of children in danger of perishing due to preventable disease; • Life saving antibiotics to communities with small children • Clean water for families forced to drink to bacteria infested water; • Mother-to-Child HIV prevention- immunizing new born infants with anti-retroviral medication in order to protect them against the spread of HIV and AIDS; • Restore Child Soldiers – by reuniting them with their families and supplying them crucial counseling; • Provided seeds, tools, fruit trees, bunnies, piglets, hens & roosters to a suffering community in need of life saving nutrients and long lasting income. • Also provided Canadian Children with backpacks full of needed school supplies through our Canadian Backpack Bucket Fundraiser. As mothers we are thrilled that we’ve been able to provide so much to those who have so little. It is hard to imagine our children having to cope with such dire circumstances. Thank you for believing in us. As you can see only with your help were we able to accomplish so much. As earlier stated, we have decided to cease our bake and craft fundraiser due to its large scale and our very active family lives. The last five years have been rewarding to us as well as the cause and we hope in the coming months to work out the possibility of holding an annual fundraising social. We will keep you posted on our progress and our continual efforts to find new and exciting ways of assisting children worldwide. Thank you again!
