Back to Newfoundland Baking
2-1/2 cups flour,
1/2 cup sugar,
2-1/2 tsp baking powder,
1/2 tsp salt,
1 egg - well beaten,
1/4 cup melted butter or maqrgarine,
1 cup milk,
1 cup bluberries.
Mix together all dry ingredients.
Combine egg, milk, and butter. Add quickly to dry ingredients.
Fold in berries.
Baked in greased or paper lined muffin tins.
Bake at 400ºF for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
