The African Violet Society of Calgary
(A.V.S.C) was a registered non-profit organization whose mandate was to share information
and knowledge concerning the culture, showing, propagation, grooming and purchasing of
Saintpaulias (African Violets) and related plants in the Gesneriad family. The A.V.S.C. was
affiliated with the African Violet Society of America.
