Hi! Welcome to the site... My name is Arnie and the lady on the right is my wife, Donna. The dog in the middle is Muffins, and she passed on in 2005. We lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada until Dec 2001.

Donna was a teacher by profession and had been at it nearly 30 years. I taught classroom theory to people who wanted to get their commercial driver's license. Prior to teaching, I drove highway coaches for 13 years on regular runs, tours, and charters for Grey Goose Bus Lines based in Winnipeg.

Previous to that I was an owner-operator at various trucking companies in this province traveled all over the North American continent.  I still drive highway trucks for about 4 to 6 months during the summer if I have nothing else to do and have done so since since I quit working full time.  Even at that, I have surpassed 500,000 miles since I semi retired and received an award for that.

This gives us a great chance to plan our winter travels and allows me to get more "toys" for the coach.

On occasion, during the winter months,  I  teach a course in "Road Sense and Highway Survival" to interested parties of RVer's.

I semi retired March  2000 and Donna  retired in June 2000.

In Dec 2001 we sold our home in Winnipeg  and moved to Vernon BC.
