What are our groups?  

Baby Loss: 

For families who have lost a baby.  Meets the first Sunday evening of every month; 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Please call ahead to register (780-998-5595, ext. 225) at the NEW Family and Community Services Office at County Hall (401 Festival Lane) in Sherwood Park, also know as 2001 Sherwood Drive.  Please come to the rear/library entrance and proceed up the elevator on the left to the second floor.  Click here for map.

Angel Whispers Open House/Healing Hands

Our Healing Hands group for December will also be a get together time to share some Christmas treats and remember our sweet little ones.  It wlll be in Sherwood Park again at the FCSS offices in the County Hall Building.  You are welcome to come and scrapbook, or make cards, but we will also be making a special memorial Christmas ornament for you to take home.

Melissa:  melissak@familiesfirstsociety.ca Melissa lost her baby, Madison Louise, shortly after she was born on June 7, 1999.  She now has two healthy little girls.

Lori-Ann:  rlhuot@shaw.ca  Lori-Ann experienced a molar pregnancy, baby Loren, on September 18, 1998.  Lori-Ann experienced a second miscarriage, a twin to her new daughter Sydney, in December 2002.  She now has four healthy girls. 

Kim:  rkwismer@shaw.ca Kim has twin angels, Tyler and Trevor, who were stillborn on November 8, 2003; she has two healthy girls at home.

Michelle:  mhomeniuk@yahoo.ca  Michelle's second born, Brayden, was born early, and lived in the NICU for six weeks before succumbing to pneumonia on June 3, 2006.  Michelle has a healthy girl and subsequently a little boy at home.
