In 1985 I was diagnosed with meibomian cell carcinoma. This necessitated the removal of my eye and surrounding tissues. I now wear an osseointegrated implant supported orbital prosthesis. I was moved to make this site to share my experiences and thoughts about disfiguring facial cancer, particularly the loss of an eye.
