Cabin air filters have
been in use since 1989. In the year 2003, they are installed in approx. 95% of
the cars built in Germany, more than 70% in Europe, approx. 35% in the USA,
approx. 25% in Japan and approx. 30% in Korea. Combi filters for simultaneous
arrestance of particles and gases/odors, however, have been in use only since
approx. 1997. For this reason, there are often no combi filters available for
cars built before 1996. If you want to replace your cabin air filter yourself:
