Donations to the AAR Registry

You may have noticed the following button on the pages of the AAR Registry website. What does it mean? I will explain.

I started the AAR Registry and website to learn as much as possible about the 1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda and share that info with AAR owners and enthusiasts. The AAR Registry is located on the Internet where it would be exposed to the greatest number of AAR owners and enthusiasts. As long as I run and maintain the AAR Registry it will remain free.

Free AAR Registration and Fender Tag Decodes

AAR fender tag decodes are provided free of charge to those AAR owners who register their AAR with the Registry. These decodes are free for a number of reasons:

1. Fender Tag decoding information can be found at a number of sites on the Internet. Some of it is good but some of it is incorrect and/or misleading.

2. I don't want an AAR owner to feel that there is any financial obligation for registering their AAR and receiving their free fender tag decode.

3. While decoding, I often find interesting or rare options that I try to bring to the attention of the owner.

Free Email Responses

I am contacted daily by many people, not only owners of AARs registering their AAR but also individuals considering the purchase of an AAR as well as AAR enthusiasts letting me know how much they like the AAR 'Cuda and the AAR Registry website. I am happy to assist in any way I can and this will not change.

Free Website

One of the things I hope I have accomplished with the website is to provide information useful to AAR owners. As well I have tried to dispell some of the incorrect or misleading information regarding the AAR. There are a great number of books that don't contain nearly the quality information found on the AAR Registry website.

At the present time, the AAR Registry is hosted on webspace that is provided to me as part of the agreement with my current Internet Service Provider. As the popularity of the AAR Registry continues to grow, it may eventually be necessary to host the Registry on a server dedicated to hosting large, high quality websites.

The AAR Registry website has no unrelated advertising or annoying popups and does not track or profile visitors through the use of cookies. Privacy and respect are always the highest consideration. Google ads have been placed on AAR Registry pages to assist those that might be interested in the Mopar related content.

I want to personally thank all those AAR 'Cuda owners that have graciously and generously shared information regarding their AAR with the Registry. The Registry would not be what it is today without your contribution.

In my mind a Registry is created by the owners and is for the owners. The person running the Registry is a custodian and doesn't "own" the Registry any more than the AAR owners who have contributed to the AAR Registry.
