March '02

Hello to everyone. Well, we certainly have not had the usual March. It is snowing again and I haven't been able to work in the garden and even worse, I haven't been able to go fishing. I hope that when the weather breaks, that the garden work will be done and  fishing will be the #1 priority. In the meanwhile I have been tying flies and "working" on the computer. Vi has been busy painting  http://www.members.shaw.ca/steviwaw/Vi's Art/mar02.htm .  Whenever the weather has been decent I have worked in the garden. Vi has helped me a great deal.

This is what we see now, midday, March 18, 2002. I'd say about 10 cm of snow.

Bought this load of mulch at the IWFF auction and now I have to do something with it. It's great stuff for the garden and flower beds.

It snowed Saturday and I took these pictures on Sunday. The snow was melting and I hoped to get back to the garden.

Flowers are shivering, I am sure. Yellow crocuses have been trying to bloom for a few weeks.

Purple crocuses in bloom. They open in the sunlight and close when the light diminishes.

Early Stardrift? A light blue flower and the snow seems blue as well.
