Alberta 2002 Vi and I finally visited family and friends in Alberta in the last week of June. We were last there in August of 2000. It was great to visit with friends we haven't seen for a while. We were able to visit my Uncle Bill in the Hospital in Westlock. He was able to recognize us. Sadly his conversation revealed he is suffering from dementia. He said that if he would go home, he would probably stay with Mike( my uncle who passed away five years ago). We also met Chester and Claudette Keown, former teaching colleagues while looking for the Seniors' Lodge in Gibbons. After a brief visit with them, we visited with a friend of the family, Mike Bandrychuk. He was surprised and seemed overwhelmed by our visit. We also visited with the Dombroskis at Peppers service station in Waskatenau and had lunch with Dan Small.
