As a Compassion Club our goal is to provide our membership with a safe and reliable source of clean, high grade, high potency, Medical Marijuana and other Medicinal Cannabis Products.
THE MID-ISLAND COMPASSION CLUB OPENED IN JULY OF 2001 IN ORDER TO MEET THE NEEDS OF VANCOUVER
ISLAND RESIDENTS WHO SUFFER WITH INCURABLE ILLNESSESS AND INJURIES
AND WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM USING CANNABIS.
WE HAVE SERVED MANY PEOPLE
OVER THE PAST 4 YEARS AND HOPE TO CONTINUE FOR MANY MORE YEARS TO COME.
WE WERE LUCKY AND BLESSED TO FIND MANY EXCELLENT
SMALL LOCAL GROWERS WHO HAVE WORKED WITH US ALL THESE YEARS.
WE FIND MOSTLY INDICA STRAINS, BUT DO OCCASIONALLY COME ACROSS SATIVA VARIETIES WHEN AVAILABLE
OUR JOB IS TO FIND A HIGH GRADE CANNABIS PRODUCT FOR YOU. THIS MEANS FINDING - RESPONSIBLE GARDENERS,
CLEAN CANNABIS WITH NO PESTICIDES, NO PLANT FOOD SALTS ( WELL FLUSHED ), GROWN IN A CLEAN ROOM
SO THIS IS WHAT WE'RE OFFERING ON OUR NEW WEBSITE TO START WITH.
WE WILL USE EXPRESS POST OR COURIER SERVICES TO SHIP TO OUR NORTH ISLAND MEMBERS.
AS WE GROW AND PROGRESS WITH TIME WE WILL OBVIOUSLY INCREASE OUR
RANGE OF VARIETIES. THE TYPES WILL BE DETERMINDED BY OUR MEMBERS'
NEEDS AND PREFERENCES.

Joining is not difficult. I know what some people have had to go through,
eg: getting appointments with doctors to ask them to sign a letter,or
Fill out government forms only to have them say "no" so many times.
We have now, and have always had, a simple policy regarding
the requirments of membership. These include, filling out
forms 1, 2, and 3
Mail them along with
- Copy of proof of Id, (picture)
- A medical information release form (form 3) so we can phone and confirm that you are a patient.
Medical release form must have the following:
- The name of the medical clinic, Doctors office, or other medical facility
- The patients name and medical condition
- Medical practioner`s name
You do not need your doctors permission to use cannabis, But I need to have confirmation
that your medical condition is legitimate. We will also accept members of other Canadian compassion clubs as long as you have a valid membership card.
We can only accept clients who fall under Health Canada`s guide lines regarding
"Acceptable" medical conditions. These MEDICAL CONDITIONS are outlined in
the M.M.R.A. (Medical Marihuana Access Regulations).

(note) The part that reads, " In all catagories , applicants must provide a medical declaration that states....all conventional treatments have been tried...etc" (This should be ignored for the sake of sanity)
