- If you are looking for places to submit, here are some companies that have their guidelines online:
- Affinity Press - Looking for all talents for their comic universe.
- Anthropomorphine - Looking for small press critter comics for their fanzine.
- ARComics - Artists only
- Arrow Comics - Not open for submissions.
- Artifice Comics - Looking for fiction written in their "universe" - No pay just for fun and experience.
- Aslan Comics - Super hero shared universe - 'no pay just fun'
- Avatar Press - Looking for artists & creator owned projects (with complete full teams)
- Caliber Comics - However, as of May 31, 2001 they are not currently accepting submissions.
- CartoonStock - A place for cartoonists to sell their cartoons.
- Cloven Hand - Looking for web comics.
- Committed Comics - Looking for series projects.
- CrossGen Comics - not currently hiring but still looking at submissions for future considerations.
- Dark Horse - This is the best and more complete set of guidelines I have ever seen. Good reading for anyone wanting to submit to any company.
- DC Comics - Currently not accepting any unsolicited submissions.
- Dimestore Productions - For for submissions for their small press anthology
- Drawn & Quarterly Publishing
- Drunken Cat Comics - No pay, just exposure in their comics. Page hasn't been updated since 2001
- Fantagraphics
- Femme Fatale Studios - Only looking for inkers and colorists.
- Forever Press - Looking for artists only.
- Grand Design Communications - Global licensing agency for existing comics.
- Heavy Metal Magazine - Looking for complete stories, shorter works have a greater chance of acceptance
- Humanoid's Publishing - Artists only
- King Features - Syndicates comic strips
- Last Gasp
- Marvel Comics - Artists can send in unsolicated submissions, writers must send a query letter first
- Media Services International - More of a directory of comic creators, however work is possible through them as they represent various comic publishers.
- NextComics - Publishes online comics but no pay
- OPi8 - Online comics but no pay
- Penny-Farthing Press
- Radio Comix
- Screwloose Magazine - Complete stories and serials for their magazine.
- SWP - Anthropomorphic Fiction
- Spirtual Scream Productions - Looking for submissions for their anthology of underground talent
- Stone Dragon Press - Looking for creator owned projects (both with and without full teams) and artists as well.
- Tsukirima Comix - Manga-style artists only
- Twist & Shout Comics
- Unbound Comics - Publishes e-comics
- Virtual Tales - Looking for written fiction serials and cover artists
- Warp Graphics - Only Elfquest related creations and work.
- Or you can check out N-Space's collection of guidelines. Unfortunately, many of these are old and outdated, or the company the guidelines are for no longer exists.
